Margaret Colville, Viscountess Colville of Culross

Margaret Birgitta Colville, Viscountess Colville of Culross JP is the wife of John Colville, 4th Viscount Colville of Culross.

She was born Margaret Birgitta Norton, the daughter of Major-General Cyril Henry Norton, and was educated at King's College London where she graduated with an LLB. She married Andrew Davidson, 2nd Viscount Davidson in 1956, but they divorced 1974, when she married John Colville, 4th Viscount Colville of Culross. She was a practising barrister, and was a member of the Parole Board for England and Wales between 1976 and 1980.^[1]

Family

She married Andrew Davidson, 2nd Viscount Davidson in 1956. They had four children:

• Hon. Alexandra Frances Margaret Davidson (born 1957) (Died 1995) was married to Richard Oldfield. They had a daughter and two sons
• Hon. Georgiana Caroline Davidson (born 1958) married to Lord Edward Alexander Somerset. They have two daughters
• Hon. Camilla Birgitta Davidson (born 1963) married to Mark Gibson. They have a daughter and two daughters from Gibson's first marriage
• Hon. Kristina Louise Davidson (born 1963)

She married John Colville, 4th Viscount Colville of Culross in 1974. They had one son:

• Hon. Edmund Carleton Colville (born 1978)
